About LegalJini

Group Established in 2004, LegalJini group provides export legal , compliance, tax and consultancy services on an Outsourcing Model

It all started in 2013.

There were three of us who founded the company. We were digital marketers, agency owners, and

eCommerce entrepreneurs who primarily relied on email marketing for most of our revenue.

As email marketers, we found it challenging to work with the tools that we could afford as a small business. And when we did find the right tools, they came with a hefty price tag and long term commitments, which was out of our grasp. (not to mention the need for lots of technical people to “hook it up.”)

That’s when we decided to create a solution for our problems.

In the beginning, it was an internal tool we used to generate revenue for our businesses. Soon, our friends and associates began to inquire about the platform. That’s when we decided to open Sendlanes doors publicly in 2015.

    Jatin Popat

    Founder & Managing Director

    A qualified Company Secretary and Lawyer with over two decades of experience, Jatin has served as In-house Counsel and Head of Compliance at a listed MNC before founding LegalJini. Over the years, he has built the firm into a trusted compliance and advisory partner for foreign subsidiaries, listed entities, SMEs, and startups across India. He also co-founded WillJini, India's pioneering online will-writing and estate succession platform.

    Jugal Popat

    Strategy & Business Development

    An SPJIMR alumnus with cross-industry experience spanning Swiggy, MullenLowe Lintas, and Vivo, Jugal co-founded WillJini and led its brand and market development. At LegalJini, he focuses on strategy and business growth, working to expand the firm's client relationships and market presence.

    Rahul Shah

    Strategy & Business Development 

    An SPJIMR alumnus with experience at Deloitte India and SOLUS.ai, Rahul brings a strong foundation in data analytics, management consulting, and marketing strategy. At LegalJini, he focuses on business development and strategic initiatives, bringing a structured, analytical approach to client acquisition and firm growth.

    Head of Operations

    A qualified Company Secretary with over a decade of experience in company law, Shiva leads operations at LegalJini. His expertise spans secretarial audits of listed entities, due diligence, M&A, charge creation and modification, winding-up proceedings, and appearances before regulatory authorities including the MCA, Company Law Board, Regional Director, and Registrar of Companies.

    Founder's Office — Strategy & Business Development

    A Chartered Accountant with experience across Deutsche Bank's Private Banking and Corporate Banking divisions, Aditya brings financial rigor and strategic insight to the Founder's Office. Alongside Jugal and Rahul, he drives the firm's transformation, growth, and business development agenda.
