Company master data is the Registrar’s summary record of a company or LLP: its CIN, status, class, capital, Registrar, date of incorporation and registered office.

Yes. MCA publishes it as open data on data.gov.in, free to reuse with attribution.
Authorised capital is the ceiling on shares the company may issue; paid-up capital is what shareholders have actually paid in.
MCA’s own master data page lists them with their Director Identification Number (DIN). The open data our tool uses leaves them out.
Yes. MCA shows it after a captcha, and our tool shows it without one.
MCA V3 is the current version of MCA21, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs portal. Master data opened on V3 in July 2023 while V2 kept running for a time, which is why older guides describe V2, and all company forms moved to V3 by July 2025.
